    Ladies thank you all so much for the info and side effects you all are having....I ask to be taken off and they told me NO!!! She told me I had to take it....It is miserable but I am just gonna have to deal with it. Please everyone keep me posted on any changes you may experience while on this drug!!!!! Sending a great big GA hug to you all!!!!!

  • Femara/Pain/Help

    Hello Ladies, I am close to being a two year breast cancer survivor. I am on femara and I am in alot of pain, alot of my waking hours. Especially in my hips and legs. I can't seem to lose any weight and I have fluid retention in my upper abdomen. Has anyone else had this much trouble????? I am ready to throw in the towel and crawl in a hole!!!!

    OMG!!! I was so allergic that I went into anaphylactic shock and had to be hammered with an eppi pen and rushed to the ER. This was on my third treatment. I had a small reaction on my second treatment but they thought it was because they were giving it to me too fast. So if you THINK you are allergic, DON'T TAKE IT AGAIN!!!!! Keep me posted on what

    Hey Short One, I am a survivor who has been on Tamoxifin, lupron shots, ovaries removed and now on Femara...My problem; MY LEGS ACHE like a tooth ache almost daily...I am going to see my family doctor this coming Monday instead of my onco because I think I will get better results from him.     Bernadine, Hi, first let me say Merry Christmas. I am 50 years old, 1 year survivor. I was very strong er/pr postitive. I started out on Tamoxifin but starting breaking out in a chick pox like rash after 3 months so I had to quit taking it. I am now on Femara. I am having MAJOR short term memory loss. My onco told me it was from lack of estrogen!!!

    My onco type score was 21. My oncologist didn't give me a choice. I had to take 4 rounds of chemo. Good luck and keep us posted. Karen

    Hey TK, I have not started tamoxifen yet, but I have had chemo and am going thru radiation and I can tell you right now my husband would order a truck load of lubrication to be able to have sex more and would be really, REALLY glad to use it. I don't know what to tell you do, but if I were in your shoes I would probably tell him GOOD I didn't
