A LITTLE ABOUT ME

 I am 51 years old and was diag. June 2008.  I had a lumpect.  Because my mother had it and fought for 15 years with it. I decided to have bilateral mast. (Feb 09). I tried expanders and I almost lost my mind with the pressure.  I had them removed (Apr 15).  So now I am healing, but it seems like I've lost my appetite along with energy.  To add to this I have fibroymaglia.  My thyroid is acting up again and will be checked again.  Would love to share conversation with anyone.  My husband and mother-in-law are my constant supports.  I am a Christian and have turned to my faith for inner peace.  I will be joining a cancer support group and am currently seeing a counselor.

Much blessing to all as we move from day to day.

I too am glad that I have been feeling alright, there was one day I didn't take my nausea med's (I thought I was feeling fine) & that afternoon I was violently throwing up, so I now have learned my leason with that. I am doing good, my twins will be here this weekend to visit me, I go in next week for my blood count work to be done, & next Thursday is another round down of chemo. I am now looking forward to the rounds so that it can mean one more closer to being done! LOL
