A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a mother of two; Son is 21, and his girlfriend who is 18, and my daughter who is 15. I have a grandson who will be 1yr on Jan 29; and I am blessed to be his 'babtsitter', so spend a lot of time with him! I am also owned by two cats, DC and Lance.

Other than my family, my passion is rescuing stray and lost pets. I do a lot of work with the local humane society. Up until we moved into our current apartment in July I fostered many dogs, cats, birds and fish (I know, fostering fish sounds funny, but the humane society does not have facilities for fish.)

Most of my work with animals has been rehabilitation. I have an acute ability to connect to those who have suffered the most seriouses cases of abuse and neglect.  Often times these poor souls have found me (came to my home on their own) and some were drop-offs.

I also love crafts. I crochet, x-stitch, do pottery.

I was determined disabled a couple years back...extreme agoraphobia.
