  • A New Year

Well ladies, in 2 days it will be 2010, and time to start a new year. I like many of you didn't think too much of 2009. All the tests, chemos, surgeries, radiation is now behind a lot of us, and I am so glad it is. Yet I still come here and nearly every day we have another lady diagnosed with this dreaded disease. I am trying so hard to get used to being cancer free, but it is hard. Cancer changes us forever, some it will make strong, some it will make weak, and some it will just leave you confused and fearful. Whatever it does, we need to try and go on and lead normal lives, if anyone can explain normal to me. I have made such good friends on this site, and I hope to keep them as lifelong friends. So for the older members, thank you for staying and helping our new ladies who are scared, and don't know what to expect. I keep thinking about all the ladies who helped me 15 months ago, so I will stay for the new ladies. Just remember to lean on the Lord, he can get you through anything. I hope to continue talking to my old friends and making new ones. So remember to you new ladies, we are always here to help you.
