    God, I hope I am able to go on my vacation. Scans are tomorrow, then appointment with Dr. is on Tuesday. Still know nothing more than the type: Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma. Apparently the most common type. Thanks for the prayers. I will take all I can get.

    There is no reason why you should not take your vacation! You should have all of your results in the next couple of weeks, if not sooner, depending on how quickly your doctors move. This did not happen to you overnight, so you do still have much time to think about making decisions as to which treatment is best for youi! And taking your vacation could...

    Me again. I now know the type of cancer but not the stage yet. I guess that comes after all the scans and lymph node testing. It is Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma. The same as my Sister had.     Hi! Sorry you are going through this ordeal. I was diagnosed in October 2008 with IBC, Stage 4with mets to the liver, ER/PR/HER2Neu+. First was the biopsies then all testing at hospital, then meetings with surgeon and oncologist to determine best treatment for me. You don't state what type or staging you were given.
