    Hi Jenny! The meds your mom is on are not the same. My mom is on Tamoxifen and then another one that starts with a C. Your a teacher? Awesome! I had always wanted to be one but ended up in eyecare being an Optician. I do love what I do. My mom is full of energy for now but Thursday is chemo day. I do like talking on this support group..very healing...

    Thanks! I usually vent to my mom, and I think my husband is sick of hearing it.. ha ha ha. She just started Paclitaxel / carboplatin (but for short it is CT or Carbo) the oncologist uses such scientific words I hate it, and I am a teacher and I had to ask him a million questions that he seemed aggravated to answer, and my mom seemed aggravated that...

    My mom is my best friend! She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer again (after11.5 years) It was a small tumor in the same location as the first tumor. The dr. decided that another lumpectomy was the best choice for her. She was triple negative (it didn't spread to her glads) She has to go through 4-6 rounds of T/C chemo. I am really frustrated...
