I'm almost 47 .. and have to have a portion of my breast removed because of pre-cancer cells.. a lot of them... my mother died of breast cancer... so I'm pretty sure I'm there...already had my kidney removed 5 years ago because of cancer...I'm scared and depressed...I want to vent to my friends.. but do they really need to hear my fears...especially after going through a divorce and other cancer with me...I'm just terrified... and don't want to show it.. so it's coming out as rude and mad..(my b/f called me rude)..now I'm just sad...

A friend is one who is there for you in times of great need.  It won't matter to them how many times you call.  If they are truely friends they will want to fight with you and for you.

It's not easy but don't try to do this alone.  You need support.  I told my friends my greatest need was for hugs.  I'm sure that is true for all of us.

eqlover, I'm so sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery. When will it be, and what can we do to help you get ready? If you need to vent, we are here. We also have strong shoulders if you need to cry, or if you just need hugs.
