I had a mri this past monday they found another spot on same breast in a different location.I am having second biopsy on weds. Isnt this most likley lcis to? I do not want to have a unecessary biopsy or surgery. Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks,Laura

    Hi Laura

Unfortunately without having the biopsy there is no quarantee what the spot significance is.  Its much more proactive to have the biopsy to determine whether its a reocurrance of lcis or not.  This is something you dont want to take any chances on. Hopefully you will receive good news. Best to you.

Hi Laura, I think you should definately have the biopsy, especially it being in the same breast. Did you have an MRI before the first surgery? I find it odd they missed this. You are only talking 60 days. Did you lose a lot of breast tissue from your lumpectomy? I hope it turns out to be nothing, good luck hun. Please let us know how it turned out. You will be in my prayers.
