I recently joined your community and have to say it saved me. I am 38years old mother of 7, 4 beautiful boys and 3 beautiful step-daughters. I decided in early Oct. to have a baseline mammogram because it was national breast cancer awareness month. Today I am 14 days post-op Bilateral mastectomy with immediate Tram-Flap reconstruction. Without that mammogram I would not have made it to 50. Breast cancer has saved my life which I know is an odd thing to say but It has made me feel reborn again. Il ook at everything so different today than 3 months ago. I challenge every woman in this country to stand up for their right to have a fair fight against this deadly disease. Write a letter to every senator every congressman and express their fear and expectations at it pertains to early detection. It is so importanant for every woman present and future. I know!

Thank you again Mrs.Hall

Christan

During those weeks of chemo, she may have been riding through life in Coach, but her attitude was First Class. I remember that as I encounter tough situations that life brings. It's funny how those things end up making us laugh down the road and thankful that we made it through.

-Still Here

P.S. I'm glad you cleared up the fact that those weren't your feet! :)

I happened to be doing some research for my business when I landed on your website and wanted to read your Blog. I loved it and agree with so much of what you wrote.

I am a survivor of a different kind but relate to all you said as I go through life with an ostomy of 35 years enjoying everyday and grateful that I had these years. Passionate about my career and hobbies!

I guess what was very exciting to me also was reading about what you wrote about luck .The final statement in the whole blog "Luck is when Preparation Meets Opportunity" is a statement that I see every day when I go on a particular website which is a business opportunity I recently added to my career. I was so thrilled to see that at the end of your blog because my gut feeling is so positive about what I am doing and when I saw that I knew I made the right decision and I had to write you back.

I am working on caring ideas for fundraising for foundations. I have some interesting ones but I have not completed my work yet. I am not trying to sell you but if you ever would have an interest in hearing about them I would love to talk to you.

Have a nice Sunday!

Sincerely,

Suzin
